About ShieldCheck
We build free, passive security checks and honest comparisons for Malaysian small businesses: the Sdn Bhd with five staff, the shop with a website and a Gmail account, the clinic that sends invoices by email.
What we do
- Free tools that read public DNS records and one normal web response, then explain the results in plain English.
- Comparisons of security products, with published criteria and a source for every price and feature.
- Guides that link to official Malaysian sources such as JPDP, NACSA and the NSRC 997 hotline.
What we do not do
- We sell no services: no consulting, no audits, no scans for hire.
- We do not collect your email address to use the tools.
- We are not affiliated with NACSA, CyberSecurity Malaysia, MCMC, JPDP or any vendor we compare.
How we make money
Through affiliate or referral links, which are always marked, and possibly vendor directory listings in the future, which will be clearly labelled. Commissions never change the order or content of a comparison. Details on our disclosure page.
