Best password managers for business

Shared passwords in WhatsApp chats and spreadsheets are a common way small businesses lose accounts. A business password manager gives each person their own vault, lets you share logins safely, and lets you remove access when someone leaves.

How we chose

We include password managers with a business plan that a small team can buy online, and compare:

  • Shared vaults and access you can remove when staff leave.
  • Admin controls: policies, audit logs, SSO on higher plans.
  • Encryption model as stated by the vendor.
  • Clear published pricing (we note when a vendor does not publish a price).

Every price and feature on this page comes from the vendor's own website or documentation, checked on 8 November 2026 and linked under each option. Prices change often and may exclude tax (including SST). Confirm on the vendor page before you buy. Read our methodology.

FAQ

Is a free password manager enough for a business?

Free individual plans do not let you control or remove a staff member's access to shared logins. For a business, a paid team plan is usually worth it.

What happens if the password manager company is hacked?

All four vendors above state that vaults are end-to-end encrypted, so stored data should be unreadable without your master password. Protect the master password and turn on MFA.

Do I still need MFA?

Yes. A password manager stops password reuse; MFA stops someone who steals a password. Use both.
